The 2023 UN Climate Change Conference, incorporating the 28th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 28) has just concluded in Dubai. hyperTunnel was there, care of John Moreland-Lynn, hyperTunnel’s Director of Corporate Development.
John exhibited hyperTunnel’s unique and transformative method at the Climate Action Innovation Zone Exhibition at Madinat Jumeirah Conference Centre, Dubai.
He was also at the opening of the International Union of Railways’ (UIC) new Middle East hub at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus, an event that was part of the COP programme. hyperTunnel has a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Birmingham on collaborative research and projects in autonomous tunnelling technologies, imaging and digital simulations.
At this event, John met up with Simon Jones, CEO of the Global Centre of Rail Excellence and The Right Honourable Mark Harper, Secretary of State for Transport (pictured).
John also presented hyperTunnel’s theme of sustainability to Dubai’s Road and Transport Association on Monday, the penultimate day of COP.
