Impulse’s corporate partners back hyperTunnel

hyperTunnel has been selected to join the Digital Design and Manufacturing platform of the French innovation accelerator Impulse. The platform aims to connect promising new businesses with customers and funders they otherwise might not reach, while giving established organisations access to startups that are relevant, mature and capable of delivering solutions to problems they face.

A committee of 15 senior industry leaders and innovation specialists from 12 of Impulse’s construction and engineering corporate partner organisations chose hyperTunnel following an evaluation of its offering, its target market, the calibre of its people and its financials. Partners include construction companies Saint-Gobain, Rockwool, VINCI, Kiloutou, Leon Grosse, Demathieu Bard, Eiffage, FFB, Setec, Sade, Ingérop and Bouygues.

hyperTunnel scored particularly highly for its innovation, the differentiation of its technology compared to competitors and the capacity of its team to develop the business.

“This is another strong endorsement for what we’re doing from people who really understand innovation in the construction sector,” said hyperTunnel CEO Richard Matthews. “We’re delighted to have been selected and we’re looking forward to working directly with several of Impulse’s French partners.”

The announcement follows hyperTunnel’s recent selection to join a similar acceleration programme from the VINCI Group.
