Two new members have joined hyperTunnel’s oversight group, which now totals a dozen top industry names.

Bruno Combe is the Tunnel Technical Director at Bouygues Travaux Publics, the global player in construction, which designs, builds and operates projects in the building and infrastructure sectors in more than 60 countries. Besides being the centre of excellence for tunnelling at Bouygues, Bruno is also an innovator in TBM operations, for example, in robotic cutterhead inspection and maintenance.

Greg Raines is a Vice President and Practice Leader for Power & Dams Geotechnics and Tunnelling at Stantec Inc., a large global engineering design consultancy. Greg is responsible for project development, technical direction, quality control, and risk management for hydropower and conveyance tunnels around the world. His experience with design, construction and performance on water tunnels throughout the world provides a unique perspective on successful tunnel delivery.

“To attract the likes of Greg and Bruno, alongside our existing technical board members who are all prominent industry names, is a great endorsement of the hyperTunnel method. We’ve created something of a unique cross-industry collaboration, with representatives from consultancy, contractors and suppliers. Everyone genuinely wants to be part of our progress,” says Jeremy Hammond, co-CEO of hyperTunnel.
