As the world’s population is growing fast and many cities are facing overcrowding, there’s an increasing need to take transportation and utilities infrastructure underground. The world needs more tunnels, underpasses and underground car parks, yet underground construction is expensive, commercially risky and not progressing in line with society’s expectations regarding sustainability. With radically new construction methods, previously unavoidable projects can be made viable and considerable new value and innovation opportunities for the concrete industry can be unlocked.
