We are pleased to announce the appointment of Richard Matthews as hyperTunnel’s new chief executive officer.
Richard was previously President & CEO of NDT Global, a provider of diagnostic inspection solutions, advanced data analysis and integrity assessment services for infrastructure assets. He brings international experience of running a global services company, driving growth and delivering customer and shareholder value.
Richard takes over from hyperTunnel’s co-founders Steve Jordan and Jeremy Hammond, who adopted joint CEO roles in the company’s initial growth phase. Both Steve and Jeremy will continue to work within hyperTunnel, using their respective engineering and business experience to support the team.
Jeremy Hammond said, “We are delighted to welcome Richard to hyperTunnel. hyperTunnel has grown and matured incredibly quickly and it’s the right time to strengthen the top team to help us deliver the opportunities that lie ahead.”
Steve Jordan said, “Richard arrives with an exceedingly relevant technology background, thanks to NDT Global’s involvement in high-end pipeline robotics, the use of big data and the building of digital twin models; all of which are core elements of the hyperTunnel method.”
Richard Matthews said, “I am delighted and honoured to be joining hyperTunnel at such an exciting time, to lead the process of taking this game-changing technology to market and to disrupt the underground construction space.”
